Worst prime rib I've ever had....meat was very tough, hard to cut. And tasted like it was old!

Been there once and never going back. Service was horrible, which was surprising considering that the place was dead. Only a few customers there on a Friday night, that should of raised a red flag in my head...lol. The food was the absolute worst I've had in a long time. The decor needed a renovation about 30 years ago. Not sure how this dump is still in business.

Amazing seafood and wonderful staff! Even at its busiest and most stressful moments the staff all have a big smile and find a way to laugh.

The food was blah but their Bloody Mary's were great. The staff were extra nice

Have enjoyed this restaurant for decades. Casual, friendly service, great menu to please everyone. I enjoyed my recent Sunday Special , Baked Haddock en casserole accompanied by choice of potato or rice pilaf, soup, salad bar & home made dessert $11.99. Other Sunday Special choice was Chicken Parmesan. One guest had Baked Haddock with shrimp and scallops from Daily Menu. My other guest enjoyed a huge cheeseburger with plentiful french fries. Wonderful.

Great pizza

A gem in Barre and a long favorite with the locals so you know it has to be good. Great specials and all you can eat nights! Great place for groups and families.

Staff are friendly and accommodating. Food is what you'd expect.

Awful!!!! Just awful! The lettuce at the salad bar was so suspicious, they offered pickles and bamboo but no fresh cucumber or tomato. The meal i ordered was plain bland and definitely frozen. It was gross. I havent had that bad in a long time! Wont be back.

The food was ok. The atmosphere was old and should be brought up with the times. Not a place I would highly recommend but if you just looking to go someplace to grab a bite to eat and nothing else available, stop on in.

Went to the Barre Mill with my family to get a meal to celebrate my sons circumsion. Prime Rib was horrible, over cooked. I found fake eyelashes in my drink

We went for the first time Friday Night it was very pleasant nice salad bar and staff was very friendly and good food and prices ! We will be back very soon enjoyed our visit !

Went on a Wednesday night, had the buffet, which included the salad bar, lots of choices and included fish, chicken, beef and pasta dishes.

There's no option for 3.5 stars, which is really what they deserve. First off, the menu hasn't been updated since they opened in 1987, except to be up the prices.. So, it has a vintage vibe, but you're not going to get anything cutting edge. The beer selection is bad. I believe they had two on draft. Portion size is good. Staff is nice. I guess my biggest gripe was that although the food was all okay, I felt that I could cook most of it. That, and I really want a good beer selection. However, if you have a large group, and you are in Barre, go here. Otherwise, you're traveling, or paying way too much at one of the more boutique style restaurants up town.

Nice quiet place located in Barre MA. The Hawaiian Chicken was good, both my husband I had this dish.

We had a really good time at the Barre Mill on New Years Eve 2018. We had a table of 7 & went early. Service was quick, salad bar was fresh & clean, meals were nice & hot. Portions were large & meals tasted great for most part. We had Chicken Teriyaki Lazy Lobster Baked Stuffed Haddock Pizza Italian Trio Chicken Nuggets.. all home made.

My first time here and I was quite impressed. We kept it simple as I didn't want to spend much. We got everything we needed and were treated well. I'd rate them slightly above average over all for there category.

Excellent food everything is homemade and a lot of the vegetables and things like that are homegrown and fresh right out of the garden

They have a salad bar. Big variety of dishes. Food is quite good. Get the chocolate mousse if they have it, to die for. Greeter is lovely.

Went with my wife and 3 kids for the Thursday all you can eat pasta. Salad bar was good and everything was fresh. Good bread and butter. The pasta was ok, the tomato sauce isn't anything special. Best of all, we were very impressed with the service!

Wish I didn't have to leave a star! Salad bar? You mean lettuce and kale? Dressings were watery. All 3 meals were horrible. Prime rib asked for medium rare came out well. Eggplant parm was mush like baby food, no cheese to be found, and the sauce was red water. Fish from the fish and chips was horribly bad fishy taste. But biggest gag of all was the moldy mildew smell through out the restaurant!

Wasn't bad, but wasn't great. Prime rib and steak were great. Baked potato grainy , salad bar was decent, but blue cheese dressing was bland.

Barre Mill Restaurant is a very close place for me to visit the food is good the service is good however I wasn't happy with the buffet. Other than that it would get five stars

The best prime rib we've had in quite some time. Staff was very friendly and eager to please. It was our first time there and we will definitely be back again! Wednesday and Thursday nights they have specials and priced very reasonably! Loved it!!! Next time we'll try the buffet on Wednesday night!

Food was good but portions are smaller now and it was disappointing. The price of what we paid for was expensive. For 2 people we paid $45!! No alcohol either!! We use to love going there but it's too expensive for small portions.

Depressing atmosphere and mediocre food

Need to update your online menu went there for the steak and lobster tail but come to fine out its not on the menu when you get there

The Filet Mignon was superb!! My friend had a1/2 rack of ribs which was also excellent. Great cheese mashed potatoes.

The food was gross. Order Teriyaki steak and it was over cooked. Sent back twice. Then when we got the bill they charged me 😡 $9 for a small bowl of Salad. Cheese cake tasted like it came from a box mix. Never eating there again. They suck.

Veal Parmesan was very good, salad bar and Steel Rail on tap. Friendly and comfortable old style restaurant with plenty of options.

Very pleasant surprise, $13 all you can eat buffet plus salad bar. Attentive pleasant staff. Interior could be improved.

I was not really impressed with the food. The seafood chowder was good, but the teriyaki chicken was too sweet and had a strange texture. It's nice that it came with a free salad bar, though.
